NİĞDE İLİ SINIRLARI İÇINDE YAYILIŞ GÖSTEREN BAZI LOKAL ENDEMİK BİTKİLERİN TAKSONOMİK VE EKOLOJİK ÖZELLİKLERİ

Öz

This study aims to investigate taxonomic and ecological properties of some local endemic plants distributed in Niğde Province. By the research works between 2011 and 2014; 38 of 45 endemic taxa belong to 17 families were supplied. Other seven taxa were not collected due to all efforts (these are Cirsium ellenbergii, Isatis frigida, Cephalaria szaboi, Verbascum adenocaulin, Helianthemum strickeri and Euphorbia schottiana). It was established that five of 38 obtained plant taxa (i.e. Ballota macrodonta, Galium dieckii, Thurya capitata, and Verbascum cilicium) range in Adana Province, and two species were found in other provinces [Thurya capitata  in Hatay, Adana province, Saturaje cilicica in Kahramanmaraş province and Cousinia cirsioides in Konya province]. Biological data and ecological characteristics belonging to 31 local endemic taxa fieldwork, was determined after analysis of herbarium specimens and present literature.
